Her smile warms up my heart… but let me tell you that it took us quite a while to capture her happy face :)

The only thing that made her really happy that day was her book “All the ways I love you” from her daddy (he couldn’t be here with her because of his deployment in Afghanistan).

Watching her face light up like a Christmas tree every time we turned each page while listening to her daddy’s recorded voice was priceless!

This time we went to visit the closest animal hospital we could find. I’m sure you “cat owners” know exactly what I’m talking about here! When we showed up for our appointment, everyone rushed to us because they thought that we were having an emergency. How silly; we just have a “drama queen”. Yes, that’s how bad it was :) But luckily we are back home now and Lester can take his afternoon nap. I wish I could take one too… ♥

As you can see from the pictures, we let our indoor cat Lester enjoy some fresh air too. He is so curious and always trying to escape outside. For sure he is getting more adventurous, and it looks like he doesn’t want to stay by the house anymore. Last time he ran away from Erich into the woods, but luckily Erich got him. :)

And here testing my new macro lens. Yeah! I’m so excited to take some new macro shots since the weather is so beautiful. I can’t wait to use it on some newborn fingers and toes too ;)
