Little thief {Yorkville Photographer}

I couldn’t help myself the other day, and had to snap a few shots of this squirrel. We had more than one coming the past few months and taking over our old bird feeder so there were no seeds left for the birds. And what I mean is that the refilled seeds were gone in just a few minutes sometimes! So we decided to buy a new squirrel-proof bird feeder. But let me tell you, it still hasn’t stopped them. They can’t get the seeds out, so instead they just sit on the top and scare all the poor birds away. After a very long time, what must be like an eternity for the squirrel, she tried to shake the seeds out. Our squirrels became a little overweight, as you can see, because our post is leaning a little more and more every day.  :)

Traci - those crazy little critters. isn’t it amazing what they can do to get some food. great photos of them.

Barbara - These guys are always so clever to get to the bird feeder! :) Great captures!

Erich - “My bird feeder! Birds – fly away. It’s mine all mine. Only I can’t figure out how to get these SEEDS out. Hmmm. maybe if I hang upside down and push it, the seeds will come out. Nope. Well then I’ll just sit here and protect MY food from the birds until I figure out how to get in.” – The squirrel.
